The evidence beneath our feet; sand and gravel reveal a recent flood led by Dr. Jerry Simmons.

The field trip is scheduled begin on May 6th and it will precede the conference.   We will gather at the C3 Hotel and Conference Center  (2205 Osborne Drive, East, Hastings, NE) at 9:00 AM and travel to a gravel quarry near Kearney, NE (about a 50 minute drive).  Those living near to Kearney can meet us at the quarry at 10:00 AM (directions will be sent to registrants).  Dr. Jerry Simmons will be our host and guide to explore the rocks and geology of the Ogallala aquifer.  This field trip will give an appreciation for the origin, magnitude, composition, and importance of this massive geologic feature that has Biblical flood implications.  Our goal is to return to the C3 Conference Center by 4:00 PM
